Our last days in the USA. Flew from the big peach to bean town.
We were in the last row on the Southwest flight as the stragglers were looking to find a seat - we saw this woman and we were rooting for her to sit by us. She did! her name is Marilyn Flowers from New Orleans - it was her 60th birthday today. She was meeting her friend from Denver to visit the Eastern coast of the US. She's our kind of people.
What do you do when you are in Boston? Walk the Freedom Trail of course. This is at Bunker Hill where a battle was fought on June 7th, 1775 - and although the British won this battle - they lost half their troops and it was a moral victory for the Patriots - it proved they could stand up against the British.
