Today we leave magical Aero Island and head to Oslo, Norway — via Copenhagen. We took the Aero Island ferry to get back to Copenhagen where our overnight ferry would be waiting for us. We had a couple of hours to kill in Copenhagen so we visited Christainsborg Palace and strolled around until it was time to catch our train. We used up the last of our Danish Krone storing our bags at the train station - mission accomplished! Our Ferry to Oslo is big - like small cruise ship big. We felt like cattle or sheep must feel getting through customs to board the boat, but once on our deck - free snacks, wine and beer were waiting for us - I booked the concierge level - it was pretty spacious with a balcony in our room - did I mention this ferry is big?
Leaving Areo Island and soon leaving Denmark. The wind blows the Danish flag in the direction of our journey - north to Oslo. Hej hej Denmark.
Right next to the Christainsborg Palace is Thorvaldsens Museum - on the roof of the museum the goddess of victory drives her team of four and expresses the fame that Thorvaldsen achieved with his art.

Our ferry to Oslo. On board we had a late lunch - took the elevator to deck 11 and munched on complementary snacks and cocktails on our stateroom balcony - super deluxe! We had a surprisingly delicious meal at dinner - so far the seas are smooth but the wifi is slower than dial-up - low expectations are the key to happiness.
